Lexington welcomes the Asheville, NC Appalachian duo of Sarah Louise Henson (12-string acoustic) and Sally Anne Morgan (fiddle, banjo) as House and Land. Their debut album on Thrill Jockey Records has been highly lauded by critics including NPR. The duo’s unique sound was described by Dusted Magazine as “[a] mutual ability to take traditional Appalachian folk music, run it through their own minimalist sensibilities and turn it into something both forward-looking and historically grounded.”
