One of the most eclectic and forward-thinking festivals in the world has released it’s lineup for 2017.  AC Entertainment’s Big Ears Festival is a true music lover’s festival that allows artists to take their creations further than a normal performance.  For it’s 2016 installment, Big Ears was marked by collaboration on stage and off, as artists collaborated with on another, nature, and the city of Knoxville. Repeating the trend of previous years, Big Ears 2017 lineup doesn’t have your universally-known, heavy-hitting headliners that you’ll find on more mainstream festival’s lineups, but the depth of the bill is nothing short of incredible.

This year Big Ears 2017 will take place March 23-26 in Knoxville, TN. with appearances by alt-rockers Wilco, world-renowned jazz bassist Henry Grimes, the (almost mythical) improvisational group Musica Elettronica Viva, Henry Threadgill (winner of the 2016 Pulitzer Prize for Music), Stephin Merritt & the Magnetic Fields, Jóhann Jóhannsson, Blonde Redhead, and many more. Here’s the full lineup in alphabetical order:
