Electric Forest Music Festival is a world all it’s own, fully immersing festival-goers in a colorful, kaleidoscopic shaded wonderland. Electric Forest announced the first phase of it’s 2016 lineup one name at a time, letting their fans in on the information first! The organizers sent festival goers packages containing an artist’s name that would be on the bill at the event held in Rothbury MI. at Double J Ranch. Recipients were directed to share the info with the world using #EF2016Reveal, receiving some very fun, unique submissions.
Electric Forest 2016 will be headlined by the neo-psychedelic jam band The String Cheese Incident (3 shows!), the king of EDM himself Bassnectar and the Diplo-led electronic hitmakers Major Lazer.
Other notable acts include The Disco Biscuits, Fetty Wap, Porter Robinson, STS9, EOTO, Beats Antique, Papadosio, Houndmouth (check out a recent DAB show review), The Floozies, Adventure Club, GRiZ, Baauer, Bonobo, Duke Dumont, , Flosstradamus, Gorgon City, Greensky Bluegrass, Tchami and Flosstradamus plus many many more – I’m serious, take a look at how massive this lineup is!
